Mini Projects Undergrad:

In this project, I presented an interactive aerial projection of 3D hologram objects by using the pyramid hologram and parabolic mirror system (for 3D hologram object reconstruction). This system was designed to reconstruct and project the 3D hologram object in the mid-air. There are two main steps: the reconstruction of 3D object, and the projection of 3D hologram object in the mid-air. The first step is realized by using pyramid hologram with LCD display. The second step is achieved with the parabolic mirror hologram.

This project approaches how precisely the three dimensional images are framed and how the hologram functions. The project portrays two systems to extend the 3D multi-dimensional image aerially: First being the computer generated hologram(CGH) and the other spatial light modulator(SLM) method which embrace pyramid 3D image hologram technique to reconstruct the 1D image and concave lens combination to launch it in mid-air.

• Haar Wavelet based Image compression
• Oct 2017
• Developed the ‘Haar wavelet’ decomposition and reconstruction algorithm for multiresolution analysis on MATLAB. Also developed an automated thresholding algorithm to eliminate the high frequency unperceivable components from the ‘Haar wavelet decomposed spectrum’.

• RGB Driver Module Development
• May 2017 – Jul 2017
- Devised a RGB driver module to be employed in car lighting system of renowned car companies like Audi, Volkswagen etc.
- Learnt a PCB schematic and Design software, Altium software, to come up with an electrically stable system that could be implemented on hardware systems.
- Performed a detailed survey on surface mounting technology and came up with the hardware implementation of RGB driver module.

• Smart Street light controller System
• Aug 2016
• Using IR sensor, energy efficient street light controller prototype system is developed which turns on detecting a vehicle and turns off once the road is empty.

• Catch The Light
• Oct 2015
• Developed a bot that senses the light and moves in its direction. It was a part of a technical competition to come out of the maze in minimum time using light for the movement of the bot and this project secured first position for me.
